The barley comes from 7 local farms on the island of Islay (Concerto, Propino, Publican & Oxbridge varieties), peated at 40 ppm, cask strength at 54.5°. This Single Malt was aged in bourbon barrels for 4 years then in Pomerol barrels for 5 years.
This Lagavulin whisky has been made more sweet by the influence of active oak.
