Founded in the early 20th century, the château is renowned for its high-quality Cognac spirits, reflecting traditional craftsmanship and the excellence of the Grande Champagne terroir, one of the top crus in the region.
Château de Montifaud Cognacs are primarily crafted from Ugni Blanc and Colombard grapes. They are distinguished by their finesse, aromatic complexity, and balance. The cuvées feature aromas of dried fruits, vanilla, honey, and flowers, with subtle notes of spices and oak. On the palate, the Cognacs reveal a velvety texture, aromatic richness, and impressive length. The Château de Montifaud VSOP, for example, is particularly praised for its harmony, depth, and elegance.
